Viva la Florida

Charlotte and I had lots of fun on our latest Florida adventure to see the grandparents. It was 40 degrees and raining when we left New Haven and 75 and sunny when we landed.

Charlotte had lots of fun playing with Grandma and Grandpa E's dog (who's name Charlotte has truncated to Bit). We also went to the beach to play in the sand, though the highlight was tossing goldfish crackers to the seagulls.

At Grandma and Grandpa D's we visited the Zoo. Most of the big cats were sleeping but there were plenty of other animals on the move for us to see. Anteaters, however, are very scary, Charlotte says.

Charlotte also got to play in the kiddie pool. However, she declined to get into the water, despite the spring sunshine heating it up to bathwater temperature. She spent her time pouring cups of water on the heads of the rubber duckies.

We had a great trip and look forward to our next trip south!
