Happy Halloween

Charlotte wasn't sure what to make of Halloween at first. The pumpkin was sort of weird, she had to wear funny clothes, and someone put crazy shoes on her feet. Then, to top it off, she had to stand still for hundreds of photographs while wearing a silly hat.


However, as soon as she experienced her first house of trick or treating she knew this was the holiday for her. Despite her mistrust of strangers, she was thrilled to grab candy from their bowls and stuff it into her tiny kitty cat bag. She quickly learned how to walk in cowboy boots and she insisted on wearing her hat the entire night.


Things got even better when she came home and dumped out all her loot. Babies love chocolate. Charlotte devoured the better part of a Nestle crunch bar before wiping her chocolaty hands on daddy's pants.

All in all it was a successful holiday. Unfortunately I think she expects to be taken out again tonight to get more candy!
