Happy New Year

Happy New Year!

We had a great holiday season which kicked off with the birth of Sebastian. Grandma and Grandpa Dixon (whom Charlotte calls Grandma and Grandpa Chow after their dog) visited. Then Grandma and Grandpa Eversole (who also have a dog, thus, Grandma and Grandpa Little Bit) came with Uncle Chris and stayed through Christmas and New Year's.

Uncle Chris was very popular this year. Charlotte still misses him. "When is Uncle Chris coming back, Mommy?"

Charlotte had a blast with Christmas. She was overjoyed to get the Barbie Diamond Castle that she wanted. She was equally thrilled to get a guinea pig whom she named Black and White Cherry (Cherry for short). "Mommy, how did Santa know I wanted a guinea pig?" She tore through her presents with zeal. We spent several days and 10% of her college fund into putting batteries in all her toys.

Sebastian, on the other hand, slept throught the majority of the festivities.

Sebastian is a very smiley baby. He

loves to coo and smile and is very nearly laughing. His greatest discovery is his nose. He spends a lot of time looking at it cross-eyed. He also loves to watch the fish on the activity bar of his bouncy chair. Marine Biologist, anyone? He has also learned to kick the seahorse so it will make bubble sounds. Much like Charlotte he has discovered the cat's tail. It can be grabbed. This is very exciting (for Sebastian, if not for Mr. Patch). Sebastian continues to be a great sleeper and has a gargantuan appetite. He is definately going to be tall!
