Eversole Update

Today Mommy is supposed to be working, but is playing istead. Mr. Patch has gone to the vet to get his teeth cleaned. Charlotte is at preschool, where she is having her first field trip. The class is going to take the bus to the downtown library for story time. There were permission slips and everything! Daddy is at work. So it's just Mommy and baby boy who is thankfully sleeping right now.

We had a sonogram yesterday. For those of you are interested in such things, here is a picture of baby boy in utero. They guest- imated that he is already 5 1/2 lbs or so, which means he should be a little larger than Charlotte was when she was born. He apparently has chubby cheeks and some hair already. Charlotte has pinned his pictures up on her bulletin board with all of her work from school.

She still loves school and insists on staying all day so I pick her up around 5:15 in the evening. She can spell her name. She can also spell cat and Patch. She is learning to write at preschool which she thinks is the greatest (well, it's a toss up between writing and playing in the sandbox). She can write most of the letters in her name and she can write cat and Patch. She is very pleased to have mastered the "P".






Her skating lessons are progressing quite well. She has a new Giro wintersports helmet in blue (the requested color) with teddy bears (they could be dogs, I'm not really sure) on it. She was keen on practicing once she got her new helmet so Britt takes her skating on Saturdays. If you check out the video files you can see them cruising across the ice. You will also notice that Britt is NOT falling down. I thought for sure he'd fall down at least once. Apparently not. I am expecting him to do some spins and leaps this week. Stay tuned!
