Frozen North

As you can see Charlotte has to get all bundled up to go outside in the frozen north. While she still hates all hats (and cries every time one is put on), she doesn't seem to mind the cold very much. She just blinks into the wind and sometimes smiles. However, this could be because she is snuggled into her shearling carrier blanket.

Today Charlotte really started to try to sit up. Previously she would grab onto my thumbs and sort of lever herself from a reclining position to an upright position in my lap. Now she is trying to do it on her own. It looks like she is doing little baby crunches.

She also discovered that if she pulls on the toys of her swing that they will play songs. She spent a good 20 minutes yanking on the dangling bugs this afternoon.

I think that she may be starting to teethe. She is drooling like crazy and biting everything that she can get her hands on. If you give her your hand she will try to gum your off your fingers. I put her teething toy in ther refrigerator for her and it was a big hit. Look at her gnaw on it!!
